About The Julia Koch Family Foundation

The creation of the Julia Koch Family Foundation™ marks the beginning of a new chapter for philanthropist Julia Koch and her children. Honoring the legacy of the late David H. Koch Senior—husband, father and philanthropist—the Julia Koch Family Foundation will build upon the couple’s lifelong commitment to philanthropy.
Through the David H. Koch Charitable Foundation and their personal giving, David and Julia Koch contributed more than $1.3 billion to cancer research, medical centers, educational institutions, arts and cultural centers, and more.
Together, they made transformative gifts to Lincoln Center, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford and many others.
The foundation’s initial gifts to support transformative initiatives in healthcare, education and the arts reflect Julia's commitment to enriching her communities.

“Philanthropy is a constant thread in the fabric of who we are, and what we believe in, as a family. It is incredibly meaningful to build something together that will make a difference in people’s lives and enhance their everyday experiences.”
