About Julia Koch
Founder and Chair, Julia Koch Family Foundation

Julia Koch is a proud and loving mother of three children—David, Mary Julia and John Koch. The family enjoys spending time together, especially in Manhattan, the city they call home.
As a philanthropist, Julia is inspired by causes and initiatives that have an amplified impact in the communities that are near and dear to her and her family.
In her leadership of the David H. Koch Charitable Foundation, the organization has made grants to support the expansion of the family-oriented Cox Science Center and Aquarium in Palm Beach, Florida, nephrology research at Columbia University’s Glomerular Center, and pediatric kidney disease research through the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health.
Julia’s philanthropic interests have also led to the David H. and Julia Koch Research Program in Food Allergy Therapeutics at Mount Sinai Medical Center, the Julia Koch Associate Professorship for Orthopedic Surgery, and the David & Julia Koch Clinic at the Sean N. Parker Center for Allergy and Asthma Research at Stanford University.
